Litre Ledger sets no cookies of its own and keeps no account of who reads it. The server writes standard access logs (address, page, time, browser) that are kept for security for a short period and not shared.

Advertising is served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies to show and measure adverts. Readers in Ireland and the rest of the EEA are asked for consent through a consent message certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework; non-personalised adverts are shown to those who decline.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The near-me finder on the stations page asks the browser for the device’s position and compares it with a list of stations downloaded from this site; the position stays on the device and is never sent to this site or to anyone else.
